Student Art Show
Harmony Art Show - KS3 Art Project Spring Term 2018 Debra Carden, our Art Teacher and Drawing & Talking Therapist explains -
The task set:- To apply the traditional style of Pop Art to a 3D Object using inspiration from Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein.
My brief project outline and required outcome was: This unit of work aimed to move on from traditional skills and move to one that incorporates more opportunities for risk taking and personal expression. Students aimed to become independent researchers by exploring and selecting a Pop Artist of their choice that reflects their own tastes and interests. The pupils were asked to choose either Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein. These artists influenced their final 3D design. Students were asked to; 1. Artist Research - Students choose the artist they wished to research and analysed their work. 2. Design Ideas - Students created 2/3 different design ideas for their final piece. 3. Created Final 3D Piece.
The results are stunning! Please join us in admiring our pupils work.
